Ecology of the Wyomanock Preserve

The land of the 75 acre Wyomanock Preserve is located in the upper reaches of the Stockport Creek watershed in the Taconic Valley and in the shadows of the Taconic Ridge.  The varied habitats play host to many locally and regionally uncommon plants.  As we walk through both wetlands and forest, participants will learn about these rarities and the distinguishing characteristics of the plant communities they inhabit.

Participants should be prepared for walking off trail through wetlands and forest.
